Today, our offices at the company headquarters were disconnected from electricity, which led us to make a collective decision to turn this day into an opportunity to help. We spontaneously organized a collection, thanks to which we raised almost CZK 6,000 for treats for abandoned dogs. In addition, our colleagues contributed their own purchases of toys, blankets, and other necessities that the Třebovice shelter identified as most needed.
The Třebovice shelter provides care for abandoned dogs looking for a new home, while also offering facilities for their basic needs, such as feeding, veterinary care, and walking. The shelter is part of municipal services and its operation is also supported by the public, who can voluntarily contribute financially or materially.
During our visit, the shelter staff familiarized us with its daily operations, key procedures, and essential rules for animal care. After the tour, we divided up the dogs and took them for a walk, which brought them moments of joy and freedom outside their kennels. It was touching to see how the dogs enjoyed the attention and exercise. They showed us that their gratitude for the care they receive is definitely not about striking perfect poses for the camera, but about genuine joy in life!
We would like to thank all our colleagues who got involved – whether through financial contributions, donations of necessary items, or volunteering their time to walk the dogs. Together, we showed that even a power outage can lead to something beautiful and meaningful. The Třebovice shelter and its four-legged charges greatly appreciate all support, and we are glad that we were able to contribute to their well-being. Every contribution – whether financial, material, or in the form of volunteer help – makes a huge difference.
