From 22 to 26 May 2026, TSC JET supported a group of 52 young football players from the Rychnov region and Hradec Králové on their journey to an international tournament in Barcelona, Spain.
For many of the participants, this was their first flight, their first matches against international opponents, and their first major trip without their parents. During just a few days, they gained not only valuable sporting experience but also greater independence, new friendships, and memories they will cherish for years to come.
The young athletes certainly held their own on the pitch. FC Slavia Hradec Králové U13 achieved an excellent 5th place, while the FC Rychnovsko teams finished between 12th and 18th place in their respective categories out of a total of 45 participating teams. However, even more important than the results were the teamwork, determination, and fair play demonstrated throughout the tournament.
After the sporting competition, the group enjoyed a well-deserved opportunity to explore Barcelona. Highlights included visits to the legendary Camp Nou stadium, the breathtaking Sagrada Família, and the Olympic Village, a reminder of the 1992 Olympic Games.
"We consider ourselves winners because all the children returned home safe, enthusiastic, and enriched by experiences that no one can ever take away from them. For some, it was their first flight, their first matches against teams from different countries, and an opportunity to proudly represent the Czech Republic. In today's world, that is the greatest victory of all," says coach Milan Čermák.
We would like to thank all coaches, team leaders, organizers, and parents for their support and trust. Above all, our thanks go to the players themselves, who proved to be outstanding ambassadors of their region and of Czech youth football.
