We believe in a healthy sporting perspective of today's young generation and therefore it is our pleasure to provide support to the young footballers of MFK Havířov. We have made a financial contribution to the club for the development of youth activities, including the purchase of equipment, the provision of transport and the rental of training facilities.
"Football is a great way for children to spend their free time," said Marek Granica, the Group's Sales Director. "It's the most popular Czech sport, so we believe that children and teenagers will stay active on the pitch and develop a lasting passion for the sport."
Baník Havířov was founded in 1922 under the name MFK Havířov and has continued to play football for more than 100 years. It has seen increased interest in the Benjamins in 2023 and beyond. Parents' interest in their children's membership of the club is growing significantly. Children participate in a large number of tournaments and friendly matches each weekend. As the number of children has increased, so has the number of teams.
At present, 7 teams are actively training in MFK Havířov in the categories of younger and older preparatory.
