The tenth edition of the prestigious Moravian-Silesian NURSE 2025 survey, organized by the Moravian-Silesian Region, culminated in a gala evening at the Auditorium of the Mining University – Technical University of Ostrava. A total of 36 nurses and midwives received awards for their daily dedication, empathy, and professionalism in the demanding conditions of healthcare.
The aim of the survey, organized by the Moravian-Silesian Region, is to highlight the professionalism, empathy, and dedication of nurses in various areas of care. This time, awards were given in three categories—inpatient care, outpatient care, and long-term contribution to nursing care.
In addition to the professional selection of winners, the public also participated in the "Nurse of the Public" category, casting more than 69,000 votes. The public title was awarded to midwife Vladimíra Majdyšová (AGEL Ostrava – Vítkovice Hospital), who received 11,924 votes.
